Web Hosting Terms of Service
These terms govern web hosting services provided by Lindy Technology Group and explain the responsibilities of both LTG and our hosting customers.
Effective Date: October 6, 2026
These Web Hosting Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern web hosting services provided by Lindy Technology Group (“LTG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, using, or renewing an LTG web hosting service, you agree to these Terms and LTG's Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”).
1. Scope of Service
LTG provides web hosting services using cPanel/WHM and CloudLinux-based hosting infrastructure. Hosting plans provide server resources for websites, email, databases, and other supported services according to the limits of the plan purchased.
Web hosting is separate from website design, website maintenance, software updates, search engine optimization, content management, technical support for customer devices, domain registration, and other LTG services unless those services are specifically included in a separate agreement or purchase.
2. Hosting Plans and Resource Limits
Each hosting plan includes defined limits for resources such as disk storage, bandwidth, email accounts, CPU, memory, databases, and other server resources.
LTG uses CloudLinux and other server-management technologies to allocate and manage resources among hosting accounts. Accounts that exceed their allocated resources may experience temporary resource limitations or reduced performance.
Repeated or excessive resource consumption that adversely affects server performance, stability, security, or other customers may require an account upgrade, configuration changes, remediation work, or other action by LTG.
LTG reserves the right to take reasonable action necessary to protect the stability and security of its hosting infrastructure.
3. Account Provisioning
Hosting accounts are provisioned after LTG receives and reviews an order and successful payment.
Submission and payment of an order do not guarantee immediate account activation. LTG may contact the customer to confirm domain information, technical requirements, account ownership, or other information necessary to properly configure the service.
4. Billing and Automatic Renewal
Hosting is offered on monthly or annual subscription terms as selected at the time of purchase.
Hosting subscriptions automatically renew at the selected billing interval until canceled.
The payment method associated with the subscription will be charged when each renewal becomes due. Customers are responsible for maintaining valid and current payment information.
Failure of a renewal payment may result in service interruption, suspension, or eventual termination if payment is not received.
5. Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation at any time before their next scheduled renewal.
Cancellation prevents the subscription from renewing for another billing period. Unless otherwise agreed by LTG, the hosting account will remain available through the end of the billing period that has already been paid.
Customers are responsible for requesting cancellation before the next renewal charge if they do not wish to continue service.
Cancellation of web hosting does not automatically cancel or refund separately purchased services, domain registrations, licenses, or other products.
6. Refunds
Hosting fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins.
For monthly subscriptions, no refund or prorated refund is provided for unused time remaining in the current month.
For annual subscriptions, no refund or prorated refund is provided for unused time remaining in the current annual term.
LTG may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund, account credit, or other adjustment in exceptional circumstances. Doing so does not create an obligation to provide similar refunds or credits in the future.
Third-party charges, domain registrations, software licenses, setup fees, and other non-hosting charges may be non-refundable regardless of when cancellation occurs.
7. Pricing and Changes to Service
LTG may change hosting plans, features, resource allocations, or pricing from time to time.
Changes affecting an existing subscription will be communicated when reasonably necessary and will generally take effect with a future renewal rather than retroactively during an already-paid billing period.
Continued use or renewal of the service following an applicable change constitutes acceptance of the updated service or pricing.
8. Domain Names
Domain registration and domain transfer services are separate from web hosting unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for maintaining ownership and accurate registration information for their domain names and for paying applicable domain registration or renewal fees.
LTG may assist with domain registration, DNS configuration, transfers, and renewals when requested. Availability of a requested domain name cannot be guaranteed until registration has been successfully completed.
Expiration, suspension, loss, or transfer of a domain name does not automatically cancel the associated hosting subscription.
9. Dedicated IP Addresses
Dedicated IPv4 addresses may be available as an optional add-on for certain hosting accounts.
Dedicated IP addresses remain part of LTG's hosting infrastructure and are assigned to customers for use with their hosting service. Customers do not acquire ownership of an IP address.
Dedicated IP service may include separate recurring charges and setup or configuration fees, including configuration of reverse DNS when applicable.
LTG may change an assigned IP address when reasonably necessary for network, security, provider, or infrastructure reasons.
10. Website Software and Maintenance
Customers are responsible for maintaining the applications and software installed within their hosting account unless they have separately purchased an LTG maintenance or management service that specifically includes those responsibilities.
This includes, as applicable, WordPress core, themes, plugins, other content management systems, scripts, applications, and custom software.
LTG may contact a customer when outdated, compromised, malfunctioning, or resource-intensive software creates a security or server-stability concern.
Necessary remediation performed by LTG may be billable when it falls outside the customer's hosting service.
11. Security and Account Credentials
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of passwords, email credentials, application credentials, and other account access information.
Customers must take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access to their hosting account.
LTG may reset credentials, restrict access, disable services, quarantine files, suspend email transmission, or take other reasonable protective measures when LTG believes an account has been compromised or presents a security risk.
12. Backups and Customer Data
LTG may maintain server backups or other recovery systems as part of its infrastructure; however, hosting customers remain responsible for maintaining their own current backups of important website files, databases, email, and other data unless a separate written service specifically provides otherwise.
Backups are intended primarily for disaster recovery and operational purposes and are not guaranteed to contain any particular file, message, database, version, or point in time.
LTG does not guarantee that customer data can always be restored from server backups.
Customers should maintain independent backups of data that is important to their business or operations.
13. Email Services
Where included with a hosting plan, email service is provided subject to the account's limits and the Acceptable Use Policy.
Customers are responsible for maintaining secure email passwords and properly configuring devices and applications that access their mailboxes.
Spam, unsolicited bulk email, compromised mail accounts, malicious messages, or other activity that threatens server or IP reputation is prohibited.
LTG may temporarily restrict or disable outbound email when necessary to protect customers, server infrastructure, or network reputation.
14. Acceptable Use
All hosting accounts are subject to LTG's Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Customers may not use LTG services for unlawful, abusive, malicious, disruptive, or otherwise prohibited activities.
Violations may result in restriction, suspension, or termination of services.
15. Support
LTG provides hosting support during its normal business hours.
Hosting support generally covers issues involving the LTG hosting environment and services supplied as part of the customer's hosting plan.
Support for website applications, custom code, third-party software, customer computers or devices, network equipment, website content, or other services may be outside the scope of hosting and may be billed separately at LTG's applicable service rates.
LTG may respond to critical server or infrastructure issues outside normal business hours when reasonably possible, but 24-hour customer support or response times are not guaranteed unless specifically provided under a separate agreement.
16. Service Availability
LTG works to maintain reliable hosting services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Hosting availability may be affected by maintenance, software failures, hardware failures, upstream network providers, internet routing, cyberattacks, third-party services, power events, emergencies, or other circumstances.
Reasonable scheduled or emergency maintenance may be performed when necessary to maintain security, stability, or service quality.
17. Suspension and Termination
LTG may suspend, restrict, or terminate services when reasonably necessary because of:
- Nonpayment or failed recurring payments;
- Violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
- Spam or activity that damages or threatens IP or domain reputation;
- Malware, phishing, compromised websites, or compromised accounts;
- Illegal activity;
- Security threats;
- Excessive resource consumption affecting other customers or infrastructure; or
- Other activity that threatens the security, reliability, or operation of LTG systems.
When circumstances permit, LTG will attempt to contact the customer and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Immediate action may be taken when necessary to prevent ongoing harm, abuse, security incidents, service disruption, or network blacklisting.
18. Third-Party Services
LTG hosting may rely on third-party software, networks, data centers, control panels, licensing providers, domain registries, payment processors, security services, and other vendors.
LTG is not responsible for failures, policy changes, discontinuation, or other actions of third-party providers beyond LTG's reasonable control.
19. Customer Content
Customers retain responsibility for content, files, applications, email, and other material stored or transmitted through their hosting account.
Customers represent that they have the necessary rights and authorization to use and distribute content hosted through LTG services.
LTG does not routinely review or approve customer content and is not responsible for customer-created or customer-supplied material.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LTG will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages resulting from the use or inability to use hosting services.
LTG's total liability arising from the hosting service will not exceed the amount paid by the customer to LTG for the affected hosting service during the applicable current billing term.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
21. Changes to These Terms
LTG may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in services, technology, infrastructure, legal requirements, or business practices.
The current version will be published on the LTG website with its effective or updated date.
Material changes affecting existing customers may also be communicated through email, account notices, invoices, or other reasonable methods.
